At KineoLab we provide a meaningful, developmentally appropriate curriculum that is sequential and holistic. In an enriched environment, our students are engaged mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially. Rooted in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies, our curriculum is taught by Certified Movement Analysts, and follows the NYC Department of Education Standards for Dance.
The first class is always free. Dance first, decide later.
Our KineoKids program offers foundational training in movement to students that are 3-13 years of age. At KineoLab, we pair teacher-directed learning with student-centered learning, offering a well balanced program that trains students to master their movement while expanding their creative/artistic expression.
Building on the solid foundation of our KineoKids program, KineoTeens offers students a more specialized focus in training. Students can still expect the unique KineoLab mix of teacher-directed and student-centered learning, however, KineoTeens provides a rigorous preparation for collegiate level training and/or a professional career in dance.
Our Adult Program offers everyone from the complete beginning mover to the advanced complex mover a great way to develop and hone their artistry, stay fit, and most importantly have fun. Through technical training, improvisational work, and choreographic study and performance, students will develop balanced abilities in technical proficiency and creative/artistic expression.
