KINEOLAB F.A.Q.

WHAT IS LABAN MOVEMENT ANALYSIS?

Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) is the most comprehensive system in the world, with which to observe, analyze, and describe movement, wherever it takes place, so that we may better understand it, in all its complexity. At KineoLab, we use LMA to help people master their movement, and to cope with their environment. LMA provides a basic language to speak decisively and accurately about movement. We use it in all of our classes, from our tiniest Explorers to our KineoSage elders.
